About Andy/Amy

We have been passionate about health and fitness for quite some time now. After years of being go-to sources for friends and family on food and exercise, we decided to open ourselves up to the world and share our passions.

Amy: I’ve been running for years, but did not start competing until 2009. My goals for 2012: sprint triathlon and full marathon! My fascination with health, disease prevention, and cooking make my vegetarian lifestyle a piece of (carrot) cake. Of course, Maddux (my dachshund) is my right hand lady in the kitchen.

Andy: I grew up running, but that hit a wall (literally) with a car accident. After that, I struggled with weight issues due to my lack of an athletic outlet and a bad diet. When I got my bike, everything changed. I was addicted to riding, felt better, and started to eat better. Now with Clark (MY dachshund) in my sidecar, I’m feeling great and ready to share what I’ve learned.
